Day two and an early start of breakfast fighting for space in the kitchen. Loads of fun had trying to work out where and what and how breakfast worked.
Everyone in the van and we had a short stop at one of Jared's favourite beach spots. This delightful bay was silent and made is want to spend more time there.

It was back in the bus and onto the Greenough wildlife park. This excellent little park is run by two ladies who have a passion for local wildlife and a desire to save sick and injured animals. The park is open to anyone to visit and feed the locals but it's not a zoo and everyone works there for a common goal. We got to see Michelle give a talk to camera about the huge salt water crocodile called George they have there. Also she made her tame kookaburra laugh and he was really noisy too.
After a stop in Geraldton for a supermarket shop, we had lunch on benches opposite the sea. The wind is still an issue so we didn't stop for long. Lunch was good though and it amazes me just how hungry I'm getting even though we're not doing much.
We then drove to the very weird Hutt valley province. This was declared as a separate country back in the 60's as a result of the government's agricultural policy. Prince Lester (!) gave us a talk about what he did then but he's suffering from emphysema so he struggles to talk. He also sends his maths calculations to NASA but it wasn't obvious if they take any notice of these. Check out the website that details this strange place - http://www.principality-hutt-river.com/ It's a dreadful website but has some interesting bits of info.
And so we arrived at our next stop and this hostel is not as special as the previous night but it did have a swimming pool. Dinner was a fantastic BBQ which after a long day and a super sunset was most welcome.
